A Shopgirls’ delight
Deck out your home with these fabulous finds
There’s something so special when an old, trusted, a friend calls you up out of the blue and says – let’s do lunch. I looked at the chaos in my office, my deadlines, and how tired I’ve been lately and thought – why not? So, a few days ago my friend and I blissfully slipped away and did lunch – in one of the grandest restaurants around. The Harbour Sixty. I’ve written about my adventures there before but every visit brings out something new, unique .md wonderful. It’s home to beautiful settings, lush seats, impeccable service (a major nod of thanks to our dashing server, Joseph!) and really fabulous food, all under the ministrations of owner Ted Nikolaou. I also had a chance to check out the latest in the women’s bathrooms. “The seats are heated;’ said the impeccably dressed Ted after I ran into him on the way out. What with all the elegant touches and even floor lighting, as bathrooms go, Harbour sixty were nice enough to move into – in fact, nice enough to get married in. “People getting married in bathrooms?” asked Ted, slightly bemused. Well, it’s a new trend, I said, to which we both laughed.
